I will lose all faith in humanity if we lose today
I MEAN, COME ON! MATT FREAKING PALMER!
You still have faith inhumanity left after the times the Giants lost to Kevin Correia and Livan Hernandez with Lincecum on the mound?
GROUGTHINK ALERT
Chatterbalks dot com: Still with jokes. Now with updates.
Correia and Livan have shown some ability to put up a good start from time to time. I’m not even sure right now how Matt Palmer gets outs. He’s a flyball pitcher that doesn’t strike anybody out, walks too many guys and was generally bad/mediocre in the minor leagues.
You’re gonna feel pretty silly after his no-hitter today featuring 14 strikeouts. But I admire your fortitude. You got moxy, kid.
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."
I'm prepared to lose faith in humanity
because it’s soooo the Giants to let a shitty pitcher do that to them. I’m going to be very angry though, more than normal.
Perhaps a strongly-worded letter?

What does "making an adjustment" mean?
"Change the order, put Jonathan in the bullpen, possibly. It includes everything."
But not sending him to the minors. Sanchez is out of options, and he’d almost assuredly be claimed off waivers by another team if the Giants attempted to send him down.

But think about it – he can come out of the pen firing scorchers and not having to worry about a second time through the lineup. He won’t have to concentrate for too long. It might work for him. As everyone has pointed out repeatedly on this site, 5th starters aren’t all that special or hard to come by.

I see what you are saying, an awesome reliever is better than a 5th starter. I just think that his upside will lead him to be a #2 starter (OR THIRD STARTER AT BEST) and that is way better than a competent reliever in the trade market.

Not sure if Rev was the one who wrote it — I think he was — but someone at HH wrote a very intense, excellent post about how baseball seems to treat driving drunk as a lesser offense than they do PEDs, even though the latter is cheating and the former actually kills innocent people. PABLO SANDOVAL AM STEAL DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS.
It’s funny how worked up we get about Tim letting up three hits.
34-30 - Giants Series Record: 13-6-3, 9-2 at home
Adopted Giant: Daryl "Dealio" Maday - Mediocre outing. Continues to be a meh pitcher.
There was the matter of the Angels being a hit away from taking the lead.

It’s truly amazing the balls that Sandoval makes contact with.

Sandoval or the pitch?

Now look at me. I'm wet nurse to a last-place, dead-to-the-neck-up ball club, and I'm choking to death!

My adopted son Matt Downs . Ranked as the 24th best prospect in the Giants farm system by Baseball America !!
I like Nate in the high socks. It’s a good look.

I usually hate all things related to the A’s uniforms but the green socks w/ yellow stirrups were sweet.

More Halos Heaven Fail
They’re encouraged by Lincecum’s pitch count rising last inning, because it means Licnecum won’t get a complete game and our bullpen is “pretty bad.”
Fail the first: since when does Bochy care about pitch count?
Fail the second: Giants’ bullpen ERA: 3.50, 7th best in the majors. Angels’ bullpen ERA: 5.92, 30th in the majors.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that pie > cake, that Bochy is endowed by his creator with certain undeniable traits, that among these are veteran man-love, a gigantic skull, and the pursuit of the double switch.
Adopted Giant: Fred Lewis, who can still draw a walk.

If Big head had Renteria or Aurilia batting eigth, would have the Angels intentionally walked them to get to Lincecum
