I like a guy with MEAN on his bones. Especially against the Dodgers.

You know he kind of strikes me as the same build as Vlad; tall with really long legs. Short torso. Would be pretty nice if he turned out to be a mini-Vlad.

The first time I saw Vlad hit up close…that was pretty freaking incredible. I think it changed my life.

He was born in 1993
so that means the earliest we’re probably going to see him in big leagues is 2014, and that’s if he advances quickly. Wow that’s a long time from now.
Some players have moved faster than that – Adrian Beltre was 19, I think, when he made the majors. But as has been said, Rodriguez does look raw.

as long as I see him in Salem-Keizer this year i'll be happy

When they said he was raw
they weren’t kidding. That is one ugly looking hack. He’s going to have to fill out a lot before he makes it to the bigs.
Thanks for the post though. This kid is still exciting.
To be fair, it’s awfully hard to judge his swing from a video that shows a single pitch.

are you kidding? one swing is all I need to see to evaluate a player!
