Do the A’s have any pitchers who aren’t rookies?
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that pie > cake, that Bochy is endowed by his creator with certain undeniable traits, that among these are veteran man-love, a gigantic skull, and the pursuit of the double switch.
Adopted Giant: Fred Lewis, who can still draw a walk.

Jason Grilli in the game for Texas, having been waived by the Rockies this week. A fourth-overall pick well spent. Go Grilli!

Third highest pick the Giants have ever had in any draft, as I recall (after Clark at #2 and Williams and #3).

they traded him for Livan Hernandez, so for a year or two it looked like it was worthwhile.
Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!
Him and Nate Bump, who I mentioned in the previous thread, actually.

Randy's hitting
is better than most of our other hitters.
Jonathan Sanchez. He's left-handed, like Barry Zito. His fastball breaks 80, unlike Zito.
That’s Randy Johnson’s equivalent of a splash hit.

I think this commercial overestimates the need of people to record four tv shows at once.

Last night, I mentioned that Lincecum isn’t a lock for the All Star game. One way he gets kept out is the rule that every team has to represented for the game. So if they don’t take Brad Hawpe, the Rockies rep could be Jason Marquis and it may knock out Tim.
I don’t think two innings will kill them.
Bruce Bochy would like you to look at the career numbers and stop complaining.
For those who were there last night
Are the Giants still pushing “Vote for Bengie”?? or is the voting in the ballpark over?
I don’t think voting in the ballpark is over for a while.

So who would the Giants rep be? Just Cain?

Cain is one bad outing from not having numbers as good as Lincecum. Both have to make it.
Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!
If you include strikeouts, which the people who determine this probably do, Lincecum already has better numbers than Cain.

The only stats that Cain has over Lincecum are wins and ERA.

on the radio they said that Renteria made a nice play
Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!
It was the sort of play where he messed it up, but then recovered enough to get an out.

what a pathetic offense they have. They score in one inning and hope their pitching is good enough to make it hold up.

I want to see some Affeldt or Valdez or Romo here, but I’m sure Boulderskull will let the wheels come off of RJ first.
