Beat LA

and that Vinny guy too

by wilriv21 on Jun 12, 2009 6:33 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

I picked up Mazzaro in my fantasy league

I have a roster spot open in my pitcher staff for “4th and 5th starter going up against the Giants this week”

In the past weeks I’ve used :

Zimmermann
West

Tonight I have Mazzaro going, looking to go 3/3

by jctGamer on Jun 12, 2009 6:36 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Zimmerman is worth starting against good offenses too.

Randy Winn is going to catch that. And he'll do it real classy-like too.

Adopted Giant: Fred Lewis, who can still draw a walk.

If the pitcher was Sanchez, these two would go 6 for 8 with 3 HRs and 7 RBIs.

by SFGuy on Jun 12, 2009 6:47 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

Nah

Sanchez actually doesn’t give up many homers – his rate is only slightly higher than Lincecum’s, and the same as Matt Cain.

However, he would walk those guys a combined 10 times and take 63 pitches to do it.
