I left with $32K, but a higher question was: Which prez didn’t get his party’s nom for a 2nd term? I picked G. Cleveland (our only non-consecutive prez, #22 and 24). It was, as you know, Pierce. Ah well.

Cleveland actually not only got the renomination, he beat Benjamin Harrison in the popular vote.

I believe he’s the only President other than FDR to win the popular vote more than twice.

If you’re referring to why we call Rowand “Scott”, it’s because Bonds called him that one time. At first we thought he was mistaking Rowand for Scott Rolen. Then we realized that Bonds never makes mistakes and that Rowand’s name actually must be Scott.
