I still believe in kevin.
Brand new adoptive daddy for the Big Unit. This is one of the only ways a 5' 10" father can have a 6' 10" son.

It’s a sad commentary on Rich Aurilia that Frandsen hasn’t gotten a hit all year, and this is still the wrong move.
Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!

Anything Aurilia can do, Frandsen can do better.

Richie
So Boch and Sabes plan for no backup SS, 2B or really 3B.
Depth Chart:
1B: Panda, Ishi, Richie
2B: Burriss
SS: Renteria
3B: Uribe, (Richie?)
I guess that leaves Richie as the de facto backup for 2B, SS, and 3B. So not pinch hitting wonder duties for him. Which leaves Torres as the right handed bat, and Ishi and Nate as the Left handed PHs. And Nate at 3B of course.
Can Aurilia still be expected to backup all the infield spots? How thick is the layer of dust on all his gloves?

Ishikawa, let the boy hit against lefties.

Since When Can't A Starter At One Infield Positon Be The Primary Backup At Two Others?
The Depth Chart with Sandoval limited to 1B is:
1B: Sandoval, Ishikawa, Aurilia
2B: Burriss, Uribe (Aurilia plays 3B when Uribe moves to 2B)
3B: Uribe, Aurilia
SS: Renteria, Uribe (Aurilia plays 3B when Uribe moves to SS)

I’m kinda bummed, but at least he will be playing regularly until Richie is DFA’d.
