I think one of my favorite moment was that RJ throw to 1st base. I don’t remember who it was against, but he fielded a ball awkwardly, then kind of lobbed the ball to 1st while falling down. I laughed for like 7 minuets.

I know even the worst players have good games from time to time, but it’s games like this that remind me of why I like Ishikawa in the first place. Aside from his stellar defensive play, the kid has talent, he just has to have better confidence up at the plate. Hopefully today’s performance will be a stepping stone to him sticking for a little bit.
