His season has definitely not been encouraging so far. He and Noonan are both falling on the top prospects list.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that pie > cake, that Bochy is endowed by his creator with certain undeniable traits, that among these are veteran man-love, a gigantic skull, and the pursuit of the double switch.
Adopted Giant: Fred Lewis, who can still draw a walk.
If I were to do a top 10 list now, Noonan and Gillaspie would probably fall off it, replaced by Crawford and maybe Quirarte.

We don’t talk enough about Thomas Neal.
He could hit his way to the majors next year.
Randy Winn is going to catch that. And he'll do it real classy-like too.

Maybe for a September shot of espresso.
But still, I could see Alderson, Bumgarner, Neal, Posey and Crawford all playing a part in next year’s team.

Far out on a limb
IFF SF sniffs playoff contention this season could possibly see Sabean promote Bummy the way Angels promoted KRod in 2002 and Rays promoted Price in 2008
Alderson and Bumgarner could come up at some point. Maybe Posey, but probably not . Neal is doing nicely but there’s no way he’ll be ready. Crawford? Guys who strike out in over 30% of their AB’s in A+ don’t belong in the majors.
Adoptive parent of Noah Lowry. Because he was awesome once, and, goddammit, he shall be awesome once again!
I hope.
If he has a minor league OBP above .400, is hitting for power, and playing good defense, I can live with strike outs.
