I was at the game

It actually kinda played out like an SF Giants game. Good pitching, not too much hitting, 3-2 loss. Posey threw out some runners. Villalona had an rbi. Thomas Neal had some nice at bats. Daniel Turpen pitched very well in relief. His breaking ball/change up was around 78-82, and his fastball was 89-93.

Kieschnick’s (sp?) bunt triple was amazing. It was nearly a bunt inside the park home run if he hadn’t stumbled around first base.

Hector Gomez of the Modesto Nuts made some excellent plays at shortstop.

Yeah

You can’t just casually say bunt triple and then not explain what happened.

he bunted

a perfect bunt, and then the catcher threw the ball down to first base, but the ball went down the right field line, and then the right fielder stumbled while chasing the ball, so Kieschnick arrived at third standing up when the ball was just finally reaching the cutoff man. Kieschnick has stumbled and hesitated to advance at first, so he was slowed down a tad, but if he had been completely aggressive on the passed ball he would have made it home.

Wouldn’t that be a single and an error?

Yep

From recap

Roger Kieschnick singles on a bunt ground ball to catcher Wilin Rosario. Roger Kieschnick advances to 3rd, on throwing error by catcher Wilin Rosario.

statistically true

but he hit the ball four feet and ended up at third on the same play. it’s more fun to say bunt triple :)
