Andres Torres will be doing rehab starting tonight as well, and Sergio Romo made his first rehab appearance last night.

Can’t say I’m particularly excited about Benjie taking ABs away from Neal or Kieschnick for a whole series. Fresno’s OF’s got plenty of dead space, though.

A hot August weekday, before a small crowd, when the only thing at stake is the tissue-thin difference between a thing done well and a thing done ill. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, it is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.

Copeland can play CF...

…and played there a lot when Richardson lost his fulltime starting spot last season.

No at-bats being taken away there.

True enough. But he and Torres can’t BOTH play CF. At least not at the same time. So if they’re both heading their for rehab it seems somebody other than Jordan is likely to lose some PT.

Does it make me a dick to point out that you “couldn’t care less” is what you meant?

at the very least, there’s now no chance he can embarrass us by putting up big numbers in Oakland.
