I’m sure I’ve told this before, but it’s worth telling before. One time when my friends and I were drinking and were quite intoxicated we decided to go on a walk around the block to sober up a bit. There just so happens there’s church around the block, and when we walked by we could hear an organ playing from inside.

Years ago, I was at a Candlestick game where the Giants were playing the Phillies, and some people staged a FREE MUMIA demonstration in left field for the Philadelphia cameras to capture. I imagine us doing something similar if that had been the case.

It’s interesting to me that on messageboards members are supposed to try to come up with interesting topics for discussion, as a way of supporting the community.
I realize this is a blog and not a messageboard but the assumption seems to be reversed here, so that posters that don’t regularly bombard gameday threads are somehow seen as doing something wrong. I’m not particularly criticizing that view, just noticing it in connection with these types of TAGSNG call-outs.
