Thursday the Grizzlies will be holding "mad tight 90s night" which will feature 90's album covers doctored to include player headshots (click the link to see Kevin Frandsen on the cover of Nirvana's Nevermind) and most "tight" of all, an appearance by Dennis Haskins, better known as Mr. Belding, who will throw out the first pitch.

Poor Kevin Frandsen.

Randy Winn is going to catch that. And he'll do it real classy-like too.

They’re just mocking him now.

Did anyone ever use the phrase “mad tight”? Did I block this out?

Why aren’t they doing 80’s night at AT&T this year? I don’t see it listed in the promotions.

Right now Jon Miller is somewhere wearing a flamboyant tie and thinking about me.

They should do it in conjunction with the 1989 WS reunion.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

Mr. Belding must make a living off these kinds of appearances. He shows up everywhere.

Adopted Giant: John Bowker, who is currently walking wild over the PCL.

When I was in college he would appear every year as a judge for the Spring Sing, the UCLA talent show.

oh yeah

I kind of remember that. Spent nearly 3 years down there, but I never did go to Spring Sing.
