I disliked the part...
…where he cited the attendance of only 24,000 (on a cold Monday night in May) to back up his claim. The same night there were games in Cleveland (less than 15,000) and Arizona (less than 18,000). Only the Mets (40,000) did better. The Monday before, first place Toronto and Kansas City played before 15,000 and 21,000 home fans, respectively.
