I thought PacBell Boozer and some of the other footie fans would get a kick out of this (no pun intended). Pretty great goal by Grafite in last weekend's Wolfsburg-Bayern Munich match.

from a liverpool fan: that was an amazing touch and turn. Villa’s defense was not in the game, but that goal was pretty.

I don’t really see how Liverpool “showed the way to beat Manchester”. Don’t get me wrong, you completely kicked our ass, but it’s not like Liverpool, Aston Villa, Porto, and Fullham won/tied/almost tied thanks to some common startegy. Both of Porto’s goals happened because of bush league mistakes in Manchester’s defense, not some offensive brilliancy. When Vidic and Ferdinand were at they’re best, Manchester was pretty much unbeatable, and when they get out of the slump, we’ll be the best team in world again. When will that happen is a different question.

Adoptive parent of Noah Lowry. Because he was awesome once, and, goddammit, he shall be awesome once again!

That might just be the cheekiest finish I’ve ever seen, after doing all that good work he decides to do that backheel rather than just make sure? Imagine if he’d missed! Great goal.
