It’s more process of elimination that anything. I’m (perennially) skeptical of Molina, both in terms of repeating his performance and repeating his games played. Ishikawa and Sandoval are both moderately-to-severely platoony left handers in a park that’s anathema to left power. Sandoval in particular has platoon issues, to go along with defensive issues and a competent veteran backup/platoon partner; he’s also bound to miss games if he’s asked to catch 30+ games.
