The View From Section 127
or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Edgar Rentaria
So yesterday was my first game ever at the phone, and you know what? it turned out pretty well. My dad and I left Folsom around 230 and got into SF a little after 4. We went to Gordon Biersch for a quick bite before heading to the stadium, which was pretty good, good beer, not too expensive. We got an unexpected show when I noticed a guy on the train platform accross the street who was too drunk to stand up straight. He was trying to start a fight, and the other people on the platform were doing a pretty good job of ignoring him while his friend held him back. After a while, his friend got him to sit down, but then he lost his grip and the guy got up off the bench and promptly fell onto the train tracks.
We got to the park when the bums were taking BP. I don't know if you guys are aware, but they have this guy "Manny" something, and he can hit the ball pretty far.
My dad and I at the park.
Before the game they had the Carnival drum/dance troupe. They were pretty bleh.
Tim walking out to warm up. If I didn't know who he was, and someone pointed him out on the street and said "This guy pitches in the major leagues" I would not believe them.
Some guy I've never heard of is staring in RF. (cheer)

First pitch - Out. This is going well so far.
Photo evidence of the Molina triple.
Lincecum, abuot to strike someone out.
Brian Wilson is awesome, even if his hair is full of fail.
Snatchwig sighting!
All in all, awesome game, awesome seats, awesome experience.

Pretty nice seats for your first-ever game at The Big Phone. Glad to hear you had fun.

Obviously shopped. The Loch Ness Monster never stops at third base.

I’m pretty curious about the outcome of the guy who fell onto the tracks. MUNI or BART tracks?

He got back up and got on the train when it got there, presumably only to be arrested shortly after getting off.

It was the light rail tracks on the Embarcadaro, btw. The guy was lucky it was overhead and not third rail.

Crispy critter avoided
