Just like the promotion where they used to pick the big hit of the game, whatever that was called, sometimes went to opposing players.

Consensus on this , please.

I posted one of those “Big Johnson” ’toons over on the ’Pit after the game then took a leisurely stroll up the thread.

About midway there was a question about who was going to relieve Scherzer , and someone said “Rauch” , then admitted to be “just kidding”.

Jim McLennan , the ’Pit’s Grant , then reminded the ’Pit that jokes of that type were not allowed there…are these folk wound jest a shade too tight or am I misperceiving something?

Sometimes I actually do <3 rotoworld

Pablo Sandoval went 3-for-4 with a double as the Giants’ No. 6 hitter on Sunday.
San Francisco shook up its lineup again, with Fred Lewis batting leadoff, Randy Winn dropping to the three hole and Aaron Rowand moving into the fifth spot. It seems as though Bruce Bochy is willing to try anything, as long as it doesn’t involve putting Nate Schierholtz into the lineup. Sandoval won’t bat sixth for long if he starts to hit. Right now, he’s at .244 with a 10/1 K/BB ratio in 45 at-bats.
