I like it, but I wonder what this will mean for Pablito.

Wow
Didn’t see that coming.
But he probably won’t see the majors.
GROUGTHINK ALERT
Chatterbalks dot com: Still with jokes. Now with updates.
OMG
EPIC
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
PABLO SANDOVAL AM STEAL DEATH, DESTROYER OF WORLDS.
Does this mean they’re going to release McClain? They seem like kind of the same player.

McClain is a fan favorite down in Fresno, so I dunno.

I don’t think we’ve ever discussed Dallas McPherson on this site.

Ooh
The adoption board just got interesting.

Hah. And I thought it was funny because McPherson actually means (I believe) son of Pherson.

It’s certainly news to me. Next we’ll have people clamoring for the Giants to trade Cain for Prince Fielder or something.

It won’t be bad until we have people updating us on Emmanuel Burriss’ regularity.

It would be nice if Dallas could play defense, but Pandoval may indeed be as good or better in that department- we’ll see. Does Fresno have a long porch? Would Connecticut be a better test prior to the phone booth? Maybe Molina has a great first half, and we trade him for something interesting, putting Sandoval back where he belongs, and giving us a power hitter for our stretch run.

Gotta Love the Scrap Heap
And it’s nice that for a change the Giants aren’t filling their ML roster with other teams’ castoffs, a la the Padres, and instead filling out AAA and giving some options in the event they want to do something else with Sandoval… i.e. if Molina goes down and Sandoval goes to everyday catching, he’d be an option to fill in at 3B not named “Aurilia”.

I never wanted us to get Dallas McPherson.
Randy Winn is going to catch that. And he'll do it real classy-like too.
Hater. ;)

Take care not to mix up his name. do we really want a third baseman named Phallas McDearson?

who wouldnt want that?
If he went to AA we’d have the most penisy left side of the infield in history.

I’ve been wanting this guy on the roster for a couple years. Now that he’s here I can’t think of how he’s really going to help the team. Damn you reality!
Baseball is a lot like life. The line drives are caught, the squibbles go for base hits. It's an unfair game. -Rod Kanehl. Adopted brother of Jason Jarvis
This smacks of closing the gate long after the horse is gone.
It’s the type of move most of us have wanted them to try for years and I will not bad mouth them form finely doing it. I might mutter, " something about promptness" but I will not bad mouth them for this.

Maybe move Rohlinger to second?
1B- Guzman
2B- Rohlinger
SS- Franny
3B- Mcpherson
sounds like a pretty solid all-hit-no-defense AAA infield to me.

Fresno wants Matt Downs at second. I think Downs is a better prospect than Rohlinger.

I would have to agree with Baron. I am however somewhat biased.

I'm ok with this too
I just want the Rohlinger move to second to happen because I said it would happen in one of the many prediction threads we had in the offseason.

Probably doesn't mean anything at all.
