I live in D.C, and I hate to say it but being surrounded by so much Nationals baseball makes me even more happy to be a Giants fan. A walk-off walk? Is this really the best they could do?

Elijah Dukes didn’t try to be the hero…probably because his behavior has already pretty much ruled that out.

I like that Elijah Dukes is a focal point of their ad campaign and Manny Acta’s dumb ass has him as a backup. Potential best player on the team? Bench spot!

it’s an insensitive time to pick on the Angles, but they have a bunch of billboards in The SoCal saying “Fan Strong”. WTF does that mean??? Is that like Wave Hard?

A walk off walk is way better than a walk-off home run.

1) It’s much rarer. 2) It’s funny as hell.

I’ll always remember that time in 2001 when Juan Acevedo entered the ninth inning with the Rockies up 1-0 on the Giants. After retiring the first two batters, he allowed a walk and two singles, tying the game. Then, after giving Bonds an intentional pass, he walked Kent to force in the winning run. It was classic, way better than a home run.

We were watching the Orioles game today [MLB free preview dealie] and the Orioles had a commercial in the same format as the one above. Some chick appearing to stand in front of a screen with an Orioles game on where they defeat “the evil empire.”
