Weyermann and Baer also have discussed the possibility of televising selected San Jose Giants games on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, of which the Giants own a piece.

Nope...
Since it won’t happen now….Neukom had said the Giants were working to try and find a way to have the big league team play the SJ Giants (A seriously prospect-laden squad, no less) at San Jose much like how the Giants and Grizz did last season.
However, considering the other news coming out today, it seems there was a lot that the big league team has been working on in regards to the relationship between the two organizations.
In addition to the ownership announcement, tomorrow we’ll find out more about the $600K of redevelopment work done at Municipal Stadium. Baron and I will have pics and stories sometime tomorrow, probably.

I love this…
“The only time I see pitchers from the Giants in San Jose is when they’re on a rehab assignment,” he said. “And this pitch looks like an attempt to rehabilitate a San Francisco ballclub’s image in San Jose.”
Great metaphor, I guess, since I don’t get it. But on the first bit…..DUH. What, are the Giants just going to send down Tim Lincecum every other start for it to be in A ball?
