Still not as good as the nasty shit, but lulz-worthy just the same.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

and the "technical difficulties"
that mysteriously black out the screen
Giants pitching coach Dave Righetti. "I treat Timmy differently from most pitchers: I leave him alone."

He’s not the worst part. Dave Campbell and Rex Hudler make me want to throw the PS3 out of a window.

I don’t mind the Show’s announcing, but video game announcing is just hard to get right. The 2K series made Jon Miller sound terrible because he was so repetitive. Every other hit was dubbed by virtual Miller as a LINED SHOT and I couldn’t stand it!
The worst part is a lot of the stupid phrases that Rex said last year are back for this year’s game. Like:
“Time to choke up to the label! Anything to avoid another punch-out!”
Or:
“I’ve seen guys more aggressive clipping their hedges! Swing the bat!”
When I played The Show ‘06, the game would show my strikes and ball count and Hudler would say something to the affect of "He’s been around the zone a lot tonight, if he continues to do that the hitter will lock in". Well, it ain’t my fault if the hitter swings at bad pitches.
If I miss the first two pitches of the game
while playing my 08’, Hudler says “His pitches have been off all night! This isn’t the [pitcher’s name] we’re used to seeing.”
hopefully this gets him fired
that guy is a huge pimple on an otherwise great network.

I guess the warning is for people who may be around the sound.
Because people here swear on these boards.
Won’t somebody PLEASE think of the children?!

We are at war with Los Angeles. We have always been at war with Los Angeles.
I appreciate the courtesy – when playing this at work, it would be nice to know when a giant, audible f-bomb is about to drop.

What’s the difference between Manny and Sriracha Sauce?
One’s a prick and the other is made out of prik.

why would they be discussing Fernando Vina?
“Today in part 14 of our 27 part series, average second basemen of the late 1990s, we will explore the career of Fernando Vina”
