I thought you’d forgotten so I almost had one posted then checked if you posted one. I should have just said screw it, I had a better write up anyway.

Ahhhhhhhh
Nothing better than sitting outside in the sun listening to the game. Thank god for Spring Training and the vacation I was supposed to take during it, causing me to get off work, but then getting canceled causing me to do nothing this week.

Yeah, I was mistaking him for those two guys. I just assumed they would have him also. Still seems like a safe assumption to me.
Why? So he could hit .330/.388/.475 there again? Because those are his AAA agregate numbers.
The Basil Fawlty Moderating Strategy:
"We could run a nice blog here if we didn't have all these members getting in the way."
Burriss beat Franny out for 2b. He was going to sit on the bench in The City. The genesis of the problem is Sabean signing Renteria at SS. With the average defender Renteria at SS the Giants needed a plus defender at 2b.
Let Franny go down to Fresno put up your numbers and he becomes a wanted player – either in The City or in a trade.
With all that said I would prefer SS to have a plus defensive SS and then can have Franny be the starter at 2b. If he is going to sit in ML it would be better to play in minors.
Can someone approximate recap the scoring?

I really wish Zito would go on a run like he had in BM10, he had a year in the 4 ERA, then two in the 3’s, and then one in the 4s, and then someone offered a trade that I took.

I, like everyone, do not agree with the current roster situation, but it should be pointed out that Zito won the majority of games that Sandoval caught for him last year. Fluke? Maybe. Coincidence? Probably, but it’s something to consider.
Risk vs Reward
Last season Sandoval was a catcher and not a cog in lineup. This year he IS the lineup. It is not worth the risk at this time.

yeah. they may have the #1 system and have some great young arms down there. But at the Major League Level, their pitching is pretty bad overall, particularly in the rotation.
