The New Street Banners are Up

The new street banners are up in China Basin. These are similar to the Bus Ads some of you have already seen on Muni. Some are fairly cheesy, but really not as bad as last year and not as bad as the ticket designs. I would say my favorite banners is still the SF Skyline from a few years back. seen here

The Timmy one is an ugly mouthful: ’let’s play’ ‘like a cy young award winner’. All of the others are relatively short, as they should be. And it should be ‘as’ not ‘like’.
I know they probably felt like they had to get it in there, but i’m not sure they really did. Even if they did have to reference Cy, there are lot more interesting ways to do it.
