Tim Lincecum missed his last start because of bronchitis. After throwing two fastballs at bronchitis's head, Lincecum was able to strike bronchitis out with three consecutive changeups. We welcome Lincecum's return.

Bronchitis can be a nasty thing. I hope he doesn’t have the strain that was running around here. You feel better for a day or two, you go back to your “normal” life …and POW! you’re sick again.
Last year I had a cold that lasted three weeks…and then it turned into bronchitis. I couldn’t eat for four days. I couldn’t sleep more than a few hours at a time with the pain in my chest from coughing and the sore throat pain. It was hell. So I feel for Tim.

Let’s see, walks with no average or power, and poorly utilized speed in a 6’6" frame. That really is a weird skill set. He has super-old man batting skills, but obviously he was crazy athletic. No clue.

Me too. What are his problems defensively at 3B? Is it reaction time, arm, range, all of the above? Basically, I’m just wondering if his shortcomings defensively make him a better fit at 2B anyways.

Frandsen would be great off the bench
I would love this lineup, in this order:
Winn
Renteria
Lewis
Molina
Sandoval
Ishikawa
Guzman
Rowand
maybe no 30hr guys, but probably at least 4 of them crack 15, which is better than we’ve been doing
If Guzman made the team, he should probably bat 4th.

The only differences might be Rowand’s placement in the lineup and who actually is the second baseman.

I used to have terrible problems with gameday audio a few years ago – it would freeze my web browser about 20 times in a row before it worked – and it didn’t change until I got a new computer. They have a customer service number, but in my experience you had to wait on hold for like 30 minutes and then they were no help anyway. So I don’t have a surplus of bright ideas.

Molina hitting sixth makes so much sense. For the first inning, anyway, if he GIDPs it means we already got 1 run. If he comes up w bases loaded and 2 outs, he’s a good bet to get a hit.

How is our boy Ishikawa going to hold up this season? Anyone think we will be seeing some Aurilia or Guzzie playing some 1b or will they slide Brooks over to 1b and have Uribe or Guzzie play the hot corner?

Your high school may have Aaron Miles, but mine has a gruesome cheerleader murder so sensational it became a Lifetime tv movie with Kellie Martin and Tori Spelling.

It was! Very exciting.
Other people who have made my high school proud:
- A guy from my graduating class (who I knew pretty well, actually) made the front page of the Chronicle by kidnapping a 16-year old girl (he was 20) who he’d been stalking
- The Fajitagate guy
- A spokesperson for the McCain campaign who was charged with preparing Sarah Palin for her interviews – good job!
- Ken Dorsey

Just out of curiosity...
Has anyone ever seen spring training highlights on MLBTV from the Cactus League?
Maybe my timing’s just bad…
No
I only see Yankee & Red Sox highlights and 30 Clubs in 30 Days

Afterthought
Cannot believe with the sightings of Bumgarner, Alderson and even SImmons, Culberson, Pill, Noonan etc that the Giants brass has not even thought of an EME sighting.
