OT: Pokemons Question
I recently purchased a Nintendo DS and will eventually be trying out Pokemon for the first time. But which one? There are like 20 options, and I don't know which to choose. Diamond? Pearl? Platinum? Help please from all the Pokemon fiends here.

A computer knows nothing about Pokemon? I’m shocked!
Adopted Giant: Clayton Tanner (unless someone tells me he's already been adopted)

You really can’t go wrong with any of them, but Platinum is more or less an improved version of Diamond/Pearl. I’d go with that.
Platinum, eh? Sounds good. Thanks.
Anyone have any starter tips? I probably won’t be playing the game for a few days/weeks, so I have a little time to think about it.

PIPLUP IS THE BEST STARTER POKEMON!
Actually, there aren’t many fire types for the first part of the game in Platinum/Diamond/Pearl except for Ponyta/Rapidash, so if you think you’ll want a Fire type you might want to go with the monkey starter. Then again, they could have changed it for Platinum, idk.

I actually like all of these starters a lot. I think they’re the best starting set since b/r/y.

IA with jpon, even as fire is not my favorite type. I’m going with the grass starter, because I already raised Empoleon in Pearl. Plus he looks like he has broccoli on his back.

Yeah, definitely get Platinum

Thirded.
With BVCE’s support, the Platinum vote could be unanymous between the big four.

Why is that in Spanish?

Do you see the .com.mx part?

On a related note, my company’s computer network was briefly infected with what I assume was a virus or something that automatically loaded every page anybody in the building went to with the .mx tag in the URL.
It was a hilarious 15 minutes.

Didn’t know that Xanthan is still spelled the same in Spanish. Figured it would read Computadora on Mar 17, 2009 11:36 AM PDT
