Why trade for Howard when you can sign Adam Dunn
They’re pretty damn similar, right down to the atrocious defense.

even if he loss arb this year he would get 14 this year 18 next and18-20 the year after that. Overall cost is similar plus it gives them stability. I agree it is to much, but it makes sense for them.
