OT: Matt Bush behaves like an a-hole, gets DFA'd for Cliff Floyd

The 2004 first overall pick in the draft was released Friday, in part for his inability to contribute to any team in the Padres organization, but more for his ability to act like a complete asshole.

The link states Bush is being investigated for a drunken assualt on two male students at a San Diego area high school. Specifically, Bush was drunk, threw a golf club into the dirt, picked up and threw a freshman lacrosse player and hit another one. Bush also yelled "I'm Matt (expletive) Bush," and "(expletive) East County," before driving over a curb in his Mercedes when leaving the campus, as picked out from the article.

And then they cut him to make room for Cliff Floyd. I'd laugh at him, but he's a heck of a lot smarter than me if he can squeeze $3 mil plus out of a baseball team and still behave like a classless jerkoff.

While Bush deserved what he got from the Padres, why did the Padres sign Cliff Floyd?? Did the NL put in the DH and I missed it?? His knees are too messed up to play the outfield anymore, and the Padres best hitter is also a lefthanded hitting first baseman, so all he’ll do is sit on the bench and pinch hit. If you’re a contender you might want him in that role, but what sense does this make for the Padres??
