Our new cleanup hitter. Why not?
Warning: In Spanish, and fast Venezuelan Spanish at that. But awesome video of Pablo beating out Miguel Cabrera in the jonron contest

I am dumb, but I do not understand how to do fanposts. I leave it to the pros from now on, damnit!

Did you notice… he didn’t swing at everything? Doesn’t like the high ones.

I was paying attention to that too. Sometimes he seemed to swing on a rhythm of every 3rd pitch (unless it was waist high, middle-in, which is most hitter’s best location to drive for power. Interestingly, he stretched that down quite low, so its really anything middle in to around the knees he feels he can drive. Then he’d hit that 3rd pitch, almost no matter where it was, and managed to get some nice drive all but a few times.
Adoptive Parent of Francisco Peguero. He can throw, he can run, he can hit(fastballs), and he's Dominican. What else do you need to know?

It was good to see the Big Cat take some cuts as well.

What little I can do to help make McCovey Chronicles the best Giants site, uh, I guess I’ll do. That sentence sucked pretty bad. Good call on the Big Cat

He can still hit the ball pretty hard and far, as long as it’s batting practice speed fastballs. I really wish I could hit a baseball far like that.
