Around SBN: Interview With UMD Athletic Director, Dr. Debbie Yow

Interesting.

Sure, he's too puny for Barry Lamar to take seriously - but I have to admit enjoying some of his programming.

Thoughts?

Interesting indeed

Maybe MLB will dump Vasgersian for Costas now as their lead host guy. Just as long as they keep HR as their lead analyst and stay VERY far away from trying to lure some idiot like Joe Morgan or Tim McCarver.

Costas may be kind of a prick sometimes, but he’s good at what he does and is generally knowledgable about sports, baseball especially. And if MLB Network is going to broadcast games in the future, having him as the play by play guy would be a great move.

I hope he gives some more insights on the state of blogging.

Vasgersian is much more tolerable in a football booth when he has less time to ponder and think about the nonsense he calls a baseball broadcasting career.

I’d rather have Costas than just about anyone over at ESPN or if the total of Fox Sports Net still counts as a whole cable network.

"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.
