Awesome.
Both are young and definitely hold a modern view of player development and acquisition. Shelley is a big “numbers” guy whose influence only grows stronger as Sabean seems to embrace Sabermetrics more than he has in the past.

Though, I kind of would love to think that the STATS Department in Giants HQ is actually Shelley sitting in a room by himself with an old copy of MVP Baseball 2005 simming seasons.
