I didn’t have gameday audio last year ’cause I was back in the Bay Area, but in past years I seem to recall them trying to get you to agree to auto-renew.

It’s always been auto-renew unless you send them an email telling them not to (or make your old credit card invalid…i.e. cancel it).

They don’t actually charge you until the five day trial is over, which may actually be five days into the actual season.

by paboperfecto on Feb 25, 2009 11:37 AM PST up reply actions

I just signed up for Gameday Audio and there was a box that was default checked for auto-renew. I unchecked it.

I just signed up today (my radio’s reception sucks at work) and there was a little checkbox for auto-renew, so maybe you can find an option on your account page or something.

Last year, I accidentally ordered like four subscriptions of Gameday Audio. And it was a real bitch to fix it because (a) I was in London, which has a hilarious time difference (b) with a pay as you go mobile phone and exorbitant long distance rates. I had to get my mom to call them and fix it in the end.
