He puts Botts in the seats
This is slightly off topic, but perhaps still interesting in a ham fighting sort of way. Former Texas Ranger and current Japanese Leaguer Jason Botts evidently has quite a following in the land of the rising sun, as evidenced by this YouTube video.
Not your everyday Shinjo Sixpack
Botts was your typical AAAA player whom I think everyone knew would thrive over in Japan. Whether he's a Cecil and makes it back to MLB or he's Tuffy Rhodes and carves out a career in Japan, I think it's cool that they've embraced him. J.R. Phillips, this could have been you.

I would love to go and see a ballgame in Japan. I’ve heard its experience in itself. It’s on my list of things to do but who knows when that will happen.
I think it’s Yu Darvish at 0:30.

He’d be much cooler with “Whirling” as his nickname.
It would give his strikeouts some added oomph.

Whoah.
Did you guys see Yu Darvish about 30 seconds in? Talk about flashbacks.
