Michael Lewis writes a great piece for NY Times
Okay, so it's about basketball, but it's a fantastic free read

I read that. Interesting stuff.
What Grant actually took away from the article: Shane Battier knows how to use “whom” in a sentence, and he doesn’t end his sentences with prepositions even when he’s talking.

the question is, did you read it online or do you subscribe to the times? Pretty much the measuring stick for pompousness in the internet age

It was waiting for me on my Kindle when I woke up for scones and a latte.

I liked this piece
Lewis wasn’t condescending or arrogant at all. It was good.
Aaron King is still my homeboy... iffy mechanics and all

I was just checking out a live blog of the NBA trade deadline. There was a bit of an argument when one participant said something like, “They can have all the fancy stats they want, they still haven’t won a championship!” (paraphrased).
I found this interesting because I was wondering if basketball fans would go through the same crap baseball fans had to go through.

Interesting. My delusional ego is telling me that I wasn’t too short and slow to go past high school ball, I was just misunderstood.
