Hooray for not getting the MLB Network!
Actually it would probably be interesting to watch a little.

the revised ground rules...
Crew chief: “..And any tremors…what happens, happens. Ball is live. Treat it like a bad hop.”
If I knew no damage would befall anyone/thing, I would’ve liked to have seen that in play. benefitting the giants of course. as a way to “make up” for having to face Stewart again.
Plate Techtonics
The only force known to man that’s strong enough to get Tim McCarver to stop talking.
I watched the 1954 World Series highlights on MLB Network late last night. Awesomeness.

What a fixed World Series!!
Not only were the A’s roided up, but the week delay enabled the A’s to go back to their number one and number two starters. It’s ironic how much crap we’ve taken from fans of other teams about Bonds being roided up, when we were the first team to really get jobbed in a World Series by a team who we now know was filled with roiders.
Brian Sabean's our GM: Not exactly the "silver bullet that's going to save the day"
until watching those highlights, i never really considered Rickey Henderson as a roids candidate. not that i thought he was clean, he just completely fell out of memory in talking about all the homerun hitting, power pitching, injury-laden players who fit the stereotype.
but now recalling his teammates (early 90’s A’s, mid-90’s Padres with Caminiti, Finley, Joyner, Vaughn, and the late-90’s Radomski-era Mets), as well as seeing his physical shape in ‘89 and knowing that he at least became more muscular/kept it up well into his mid-40’s, i think in the climate of “public opinion” one can draw the assumption that he juiced.
welcome to cooperstown, rickey.
