when (not if) penny leaves, bring on correia.
does anybody know if there is bad blood on correias part? id really like someone to tell him “our bad, we shouldnt have let you leave, even though we had five starters, we knew johnson would break down at some point”
thats my take on it…
if not correia, then do we try to coax johnson back?

I remember him saying he didn’t have any resentment toward the Giants.

yeah i was under the impression the giants let him go partly so that he could go find a team where he’d get a chance to start all year (instead of as the back-up starter on a team with a full rotation).
I hope we do better than Kevin Correia, although he had a decent year for the Padres.
No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you
Right up to the part where we knocked him out of the game.
F@cking Penny…

$7.5M with $1.5M in incentives? He was good with us, but that was a grand total of six freakin’ starts. The Cardinals are seriously willing to cut into their Matt Holliday money that much?

wow
what a terrible contract. they do know that for the last two years excluding the 6 games with the giants his ERA has been over 5 right?
"My friend once told me a story about San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum. He said his cousin went out to a bar in San Francisco and saw Lincecum there. He went up to him to give him a handshake.
Lincecum refused. He didn’t want to give him a handshake. He wanted to give him a chest bump."
