Assuming he’s not knocked out of the game by the time his hitting turn comes up, at least he’ll be a good hitting pitcher.
No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you
Wasn’t he just an average hitter for a pitcher even when he wasn’t a pitcher?

A little better than an average hitter for a pitcher in 2008, a lot worse in 2009. Highlights:
NL OPS for all pitchers, 2008: .354 TPJ: .398
NL OPS for all pitchers, 2009: .355. TPJ: .250

A start but our Brian’s no Ed Wade!
Matt Cain: throwing complete game shutouts since 06'. No big deal.

I thought the same thing.
Pena Jr. reminds me of wilriv’s Bocock-to-toe-the-rubber fetish.
Noonan. Nooooonan!

Sweet crap, I forgot he converted to the mound. I was about to send Renteria some calcium supplements to ensure healthy bones.
I see absolutely no downside, does anyone know what his velocity is?
Congrats to my soul mate and birth brother Zach Wheeler on being drafted into greatness. Should I just buy my Wheeler jersey now, or wait till my next birthday?
I actually like this move
I think he actually has some upside on the mound and if he can provide some good MR help then great and if not let him pitch in Fresno
