Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

The big question is: Will Sabean be able to resist signing Richie again? You just can't find that gamerness anywhere, you know.

I definitely want to play if the situation is right.

ie – if anyone in the majors will tender me a MLB contract

Sure

Just not with us.

I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

Do want

This guy is exactly what our team needs, a solid utility back up that won’t steal too much time from the young guys. I firmly believe that after years of Bochy playing the kids we need this gritty veteran in a larger role than orginally intended. Playoffs teams in baseball are built around guys that play baseball, and according to my research Aurilia has played baseball. He single handedly hit that one line drive that one time, and invented the fake bunt.

FTLOG, just stop.

Supporting San Francisco Dugout since 2005 and Manny Burriss since 2006. Bringing you all your California League and New York-Penn League needs since 2009.

Oh RIch. Just no. Please stop this. I am sure there could be a coaching position for you, but do not let the Bochy/Sabean trust convince you that you can still play ball.

You were a terrific Giant, but its time to stop. Go enjoy your wine or look for a coaching position somewheres.

I think he just doesn’t want to stay home and listen to his wife sing all the time.

WHY IS BOCOCK?!

I take it he needs something to fall back on now that he’s discovered that Toyota Vallejo had officially moved on.

I don't know about that, to the groin.

Good luck Richie. I hope he catches on somewhere, just not with the Giants.

We're all basically Pedro Feliz.

I would try to get away from having to watch Raquel advance her “singing” career too.
