MLB in the Community
Aloha Giants fans!
For my school economics/community service project, I have created a blog that spotlights the charitable efforts of MLB players, such as your very own Barry Zito, and others such as Torii Hunter and Curtis Granderson, with more to come. Using Google AdSense, I hope to generate money to donate to one or more of the players' foundations (such as Strikeouts for Troops and the Torii Hunter Project). But I need your help to generate site traffic! Anyway, here is the link to the site:
I would really appreciate it if you just took a moment to check it out. =)
Note: This is NOT me telling/asking you to compulsively view the site or click on the ads (in fact, too much traffic and/or ad-clicks from the same IP address will raise red flags and Google will cancel my AdSense account).
Thanks!

I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

Good for you for tipping the cap to the human side of the these players. I understand why some players don’t publicize what they give back ( no one wants to deal with an endless stream of pan handlers) but it is nice to acknowledge these guys for something besides a drunk in public charge of a divorce etc.
Now about your team affiliation and ’02 – I want it back. Now. ;)
