After seeing this I realized how lucky we all are, and by the sheer chance of being Giants fans we can curse, insult each other (not seriously), post nasty pictures and in general have one big party. I love Mcc

I’d rather people not post nasty pictures.

I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

Brian Sabean strongly encourages you to disregard the drudgery of your employment responsibilities and join him in the consumption of spirituous libations.

I’d rather people not write vivid descriptions firm, jiggly boobies and rigid, pulsing wieners.

Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

Wait.

I take that back.

If the Giants lost to the Dodgers in the playoffs on a Fred Lewis error, this site would go down in flames.

by Grant on Oct 8, 2009 9:14 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

yeah, I’m not sure why he assumes we would react differently around here

by FluLikeSymptoms on Oct 8, 2009 9:58 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

no, its the fact that we would not have a post saying its wrong, we would have a post on the main page of Grant peeing blood and plotting Brian Sabean’smurder

Congrats to my soul mate and birth brother Zach Wheeler on being drafted into greatness. Should I just buy my Wheeler jersey now, or wait till my next birthday?

Unpossible

The Giants could never make the playoffs with Fred Lewis in the lineup.

Fixed

The Giants could never make the playoffs with Fred Lewis in the lineup.

"All I know is right now, you comeback and do you dwell on that? I think you're man enough to take it, you're man enough to chew on it, to spit it out and you learn from it. ... I think winners let it go. I think losers dwell on it and talk about it all week and that screws you up for the next opportunity going forward." - Mike Singletary after the 49ers loss to the Vikings

Fixed again

The Giants could never make the playoffs with would never put Fred Lewis in the lineup.

The post for the game that ended with the nate strikeout was one of the most extreme I’ve seen, and that’s for a regular season game. I imagine the spilborghs slam game had a pretty bad thread, but I wasn’t there. I was watching on and off, and I flipped to the channel just in time to see him touch home after the slam. I prompty changed the channel back and did not return again, or go to mccoven again, that night.

Site crashed for awhile, at least for me. The game day thread was mostly F*#k this! and the like.

I like that we can cuss and spit and all, but I’m also glad that we have boundaries such as no nasty/NSFW pics and that.

if something that bad happened to the Giants in a playoff game, I think a lot of those boundaries would be torn down

Well, I don’t think I’d post a 1280×1024 picture of a big uncut penis if Eugenio Velez dropped that ball a la Holliday, but I’d cuss a lot. How is that any different from a normal day, though?

did somebody actually post a picture like that over there? Because, yeah, I agree, it wouldn’t get that out of hand here

There haven’t been any pictures like that, but there have been some… interesting images.

Man, I love that one with the pit bulls doing it, but I know I’m in the minority. I keep trying to figure out why it was being recording, and why was the pit bull so sick? Was he drunk?

Wow, you’ve really devoted a lot of thought to this. That’s even more disturbing than the clip itself.

MCC yes!

Yeah—-about a month after the world series, MCC and MLB TV make a great DP combo to keep me going. Hey—was anybody at Seals Stadium when the Giants held off the Phils, 1-0?…You know—besides me and 22,000 others…jim
