I have never been so far polarized from the rest as the Mccoven as it seems I am on this series.
I absolutely loathe the thought of the rest of the country (ESPN) saying “this just proves what we all already know : the N.L. West is by far the weakest division in baseball and they have no right to play a N.L. East team in the playoffs.” Besides, the rest of the country wants Philly to win, just like they wanted Victorino and Werth to be in the All Star game. It will be a cold day in hell before I willing agree with them.

by SF Pete on Oct 7, 2009 2:29 PM PDT up reply actions

Ah, sfgate
I like the idea of bunting in the first 3 innings to frustrate the pitcher and throw off his rhythm and making him field every bunt. That could really mess up his timing and put all the pressure on him to make the play. Everybody should at least fake a bunt sometime during the at-bat. If nothing else, it could tire out the pitcher earlier.
