Have thes people not heard of taxes?
OT: Tiger Woods is first athlete to EARN over 1 billion dollars in his career. A reporter asked him if he is a billionaire. Just b/c you make 100,000 dollars a year doesn't mean you have 100,000 in the bank account at the end of the year. People are dumb.

in 1993 Al Gore appeared on Larry King and was asked why the Clinton administration was saying that the tax increase (they were pushing) was only on millionaires when, in fact, people making $250,000/year were being hit by the same tax. Gore replied that if you make $250k per year for 4 years in a row, you’re a millionaire.

Millionaire is a surpisingly broad definition
My parents, for instance, have never earned more than about 80K a year combined, but now, in their 50’s. they’re easily millionaires once you count their retirement accounts, real estate and other assets.

Except a lot of deductions are phased out for those making that much money. Unless we’re talking business deductions instead of W-2 wages.

The fact that Phil Mickelson is the 2nd richest “athlete” on the planet is a lot more disgusting than the fact that Tiger Woods is first.
"he walked 18; new league record! Struck out 18, another new league record! He also hit the sportswriter, the PA announcer, the bull mascot twice..."
