More proof that Dodgers fans are crappy fans.
Or, as a Phillies fan put it on Deadspin:
"Dear LA Dodgers fans,
You are the biggest collection of front-running, unknowledgeable lemmings I have ever come across. Having made the trek to LA to see Game 2 of the NLCS with 3 of my friends, we were ready for a whole bunch of shit talking directed our way, along with an occasional airborne pint of budmillercoors piss. All we got were any combination of various tenses of the words "suck," "fuck," and "Phillies" with an occasional peanut thrown in our direction. Not to mention the only time you cheered was when your piece of shit I-pod looking scoreboard told you to."

What more proof do you need than this:
Dodgers = Crappy
Therefore, by way of substitution:
Dodgers Fans = Crappy Fans
Dodgers Stadium = Crappy Stadium
Dodgers Blue = Crappy Blue
Dodgers Dogs = Crappy Dogs
Need I go on?

Supporting evidence for the substitution method: Mayor of 311’s son had no trouble transitioning to calling his crap Dodgers. There wasn’t even a period of disconnect between the two terms.

I have heard the bleachers are really just a series of bed pans.

I was upset when I went down there for a game in ’07, only to find out I was ONLY allowed in the bleachers with my front row bleacher ticket! It was my first trip down there and at least wanted to walk around and check the place out, if not to deficate a couple of times in the corners of Chavez Latrine…
If God had intended us not to rosterbate, he would've made our arms shorter.

That’s how it was in ‘07…I tried to walk in 3 different entrances only to get turned away each time. Not a single ticket taker told me this, just said try the next one down. I probably won’t be back down there anytime soon.

Obviously you like the Bruins, and thats ok
I have a lot of family UCLA ties. But calling the most unholy of unholy stadiums awesome, is well, crappy.

I hated it. My dad and I toured the country, going to every ballpark (we did Montreal AND Washington and Philly twice after they built the new one) and I honestly thought it was the worst stadium in the bigs, next to Shea (haven’t seen Citi Field but Shea was a dump). The whole place is old without that “historical old” feeling you get in Wrigley, Fenway, and Old Yankee Stadium, it’s annoying getting in and out, the food is terrible, the ceilings are uncomfortably low…I could go on but from there it does sound a little nitpicky.
AT&T is one of the best (if not the best) BTW, and that contains only traces of homerism.

There no need to. But that’s not to say it wouldn’t be fun.

sounds like the Phillies’ fan would have preferred to go out to LA and have the fans beat the crap out of him. I’m a Giants’ fan who goes to Mets’ games and I’m very happy that I can bring my family and not have to worry about their safety. I don’t often stick up for Dodgers’ fans, but I give them credit for letting him root for his team without incident.

The key to surviving a trip to “Shithole Ravine” covered in Orange and Black is to sit between 1st and 3rd base. Outside of that, you’re at your own risk.

"Matt Cain will save the children, but not the Dodger children" - I realize this is someone else's signature but I wanted to emphasize it because it is so damn genius on several levels at once.

Exactly… this Phils fan must have been sitting in the guest seats on Buddhist Monk Appreciation Night, otherwise he would likely get the Chavez Latrine prison love he craved. Even the owner’s box is dangerous these days.

maybe different people get in to watch playoff games than get in to watch regular season rivalry games?

Probably a good thing. From the article:
In addition, two new parking towers and an underground garage would replace surface lots outside the ballpark.
I wouldn’t want to park underground at Dodger Stadium

Sounds like these guys haven’t been to a Phillies game in a while if that’s their attitude. After all the people warning me I can’t wear the opposing teams gear to a Phillies game, I rocked my Bonds jersey to all 3 Giants games and all of 2 people talked shit about it to me.
All we got were any combination of various tenses of the words “suck,” “fuck,” and “Phillies Giants”
Yeah, that would pretty much describes what the couple people who did say something had to say…

I don’t know if it’s “want to” or “expect to” (and since they didn’t they figure Dodgers fans are a bunch of lazy/apathetic/stupid people, which they pretty much are), but I would imagine the latter. Although people in Philly tend to get trashed by NY residents; maybe they like it.
