I think I heard Steve say he wanted to do The River the whole way through once. I’m actually not a huge fan, I’d much rather see all of Wild, The Innocent or Nebraska (that one would be interesting.)

The River is so frustrating because some of those songs on the first disc are so bad and he had great songs to replace them with. But the high points are some of the greatest songs ever written.

I agree but I’m not actually that fond of some of the popular River songs (Cadillac Ranch, I’m a Rocker). And I irrationally hate Hungry Heart, even though it’s wonderfully catchy.

It actually took me awhile to get really into him, I hated him for no real good reason for awhile. Then I got Born to Run my Freshman year of college and got obsessed with Thunder Road and the rest was history :’)
