LOL GREENJACKETS
maybe they’ll have Wheeler and Joseph next year

He was #13 in the NWL list. By way of comparison, Francisco Peguero, who was eligible in both leagues, was the #8 prospect in the NWL, but didn’t make the top 20 in the Sally. It’ll be interesting to see how we do in the Cal League list next week. Obviously Posey and Neal will rank high, but Angel’s stock was definitely dropping this year even before the unfortunate incident, and Noonan’s and Gillaspie’s were as well. I’d expect to see our overall farm ranking drop some this winter.
My Bucardo is better than yours.
A hot August weekday, before a small crowd, when the only thing at stake is the tissue-thin difference between a thing done well and a thing done ill. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, it is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.
Do you think Kieschnick has a chance?

I hope so, but I’d guess no higher than the 15-20 range? Seems like he’s in the good but not great upside category. Good power, but contact issues, plate discipline issues, not particularly young for the league and not the overall athleticism that catches the scouts eyes. Still a very positive first full season for Roger — he didn’t go all Andy D’Allessio on us at least.

Provided AZ goes well, does RafRod go to Augusta?

I’d guess we’ll see him back in the AZL again next year.

In the chat the followed the AZ league top-20 the author said he’d be surprised by a promotion to full season ball and thought he’d end up in short season ball – the Northwest league – next year.
Still the loving, adoptive father of Hector Sanchez. And who doesn't love switch-hitting catchers with power and patience?
Hm, no mention of Adrianza either. Kind of surprised given his defensive reputation, age and the decent season he had at the plate.
The SAL is a 16-team league, so getting mention is really tough.
