It's on now..
Now that the Sabean/Bochey signings are really for real, it's a pretty safe bet that Freddy Sanchez and Juan Uribe will be back, leaving very little chance for offensive upgrades in the infield. Our only hope is in LF or RF, and it doesn't sound like Holliday's a realistic option for LF. So, barring any big trades, or payroll increases, here's my best shot at a Sabean roster for 2010: LF Velez/Torres 2B Freddy Sanchez RF Bobby Abreu 1B Pablo Sandoval 3B Juan Uribe CF Aaron Rowand C John Buck (or any cheap dueche) SS Edgar Renteria Bench: C- Eli Whiteside RF Nate Schierholtz CF Andres Torres 1B Travis Ishikawa utility guy Ryan Rohlinger (or Jamey Carroll) Joey Martinez 5th starter.

But you feel much better after puking, don’t you?
Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

Sadly, NO. It has the feeling of just starting to open the flood gates. So to speak.

Undoubtedly, they will be back!

Except, if we believe Sabean, then LF is Velez/Torres leadoff platoon’s to do with as they please!
So that leaves right field. I eagerly await the two year Randy Winn extension.

Honestly, all joking aside, that would be the only move that would keep me from attending ANY games next season. I swear to God.

Bobby Abreu probably draws to many walks for Sabean to be interested. Especially once he hires our new hitting coach, Shawon Dunston.
Brian Sabean wants to kick tires. I want to kick Brian Sabean.

Yeah, you’re probably right. Go ahead and switch Abreu w/Dye. I was trying to think of any reasonable roster that didn’t include Dye.

Who are you calling a cheap deuche?

Rafael Rodriguez: #8 on our list, tearing up Scottsdale, and has been alive long enough to see the Warriors make the playoffs once.
