Good
I’m glad. Plus it’s a lot cooler up there…
Some of the comments in response to Schulman’s blog entry bring the LOLZ.

Can Josh From Hollywood add witty captions if the mood strikes?
Why couldn't McCovey have hit the ball just three feet higher??
Wait...not captions--quote balloons!
Why couldn't McCovey have hit the ball just three feet higher??
What are the Mariners thinking?
Are they trying to cramp their payroll? Do you know how much shipping costs for something that large?
If he is only used
Against righties in high leverage situations, he will be great.

'Nah
With the majority of ML batters being right handed, and Tyler’s extreme Platoon split – he could be a very effective reliever.
he just has to be used properly. Using him against lefties in high leverage situations is a guaranteed disaster.

The following line made me laugh
from the Chronicle article:
" Tyler Walker and the Mariners agreed to a $750,000, one-year contract Tuesday, giving the team a potential replacement for former closer J.J. Putz"
I live up here in Seattle and watched some dominant outings by JJ. Tyler Walker is no J.J. Putz.
Still, I’ll never forget the time Walker struck out the side when he came in with bases loaded and no outs. Plus I just found out that he and I went to the same high school, so I’ll root for him at Safeco.
Good Giant
Best of luck Tyler. I’ll always admire your hard-earned comeback. When things didn’t go well, it never appeared to be for lack of effort.
