I don’t remember seeing Mexican Santa in Revelation. Must be a different translation.

Extinct imaginary? OK. Pagan with Satanic? Alrighty.

Translations can be tricky.

actually satanism is a subset of paganism, not the other way round.

Or as I remember from my *Prodigy days: “All satanists are pagans but not all pagans are satanic”

You just proved my point. Pagans first then satanic, if done schematically.

I’m not trying to split hairs, just being cheeky.

I wasn’t going to do this, but I cannot help myself. ( I guess the devil made me do it)

Your definition is fairly recent. Satan is a part of christianity. Unless you define it as a religion.

From Wiki:

Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning “country dweller, rustic”)1 is the blanket term given to describe religions and spiritual practises of pre-Christian Europe, and by extension a term for polytheistic traditions or folk religion worldwide seen from a Western or Christian viewpoint. The term has various different meanings, though, from a Western perspective, it has modern connotations of a faith that has polytheistic,2 spiritualist, animistic or shamanic practices, such as a folk religion, historical polytheistic or neopagan religion.

"...and R will reply to the comment that has focus."

No focus here. They’re all fuzzy and ill defined.
I’m just too good to see the evil , I suppose…
