Anyone excited for this?
"MLB Front Office Manager lets gamers do everything a real-life baseball GM can do to develop a team from Spring Training through a full MLB season, into the playoffs and the World Series. Using Major League teams and players, gamers will create their own fictional baseball universe and build their reputation into elite status. Gamers can replace aging veterans with rookies, scout the Minor Leagues, make blockbuster trades, and even participate in bidding wars for posted players from Japan as they make their way to the Hall of Fame."

I'm definitely intrigued
but to date 2k’s baseball games have been pretty underwhelming. Hopefully with Billy Beane’s imput they don’t screw up what could be a good game for wannabe GM’s.

I’m a bit baseball sim guy, so I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. While it has a graphical engine, though, I just can’t see it competing in regards to depth and features with text-based sims like Out Of The Park 9 or even Baseball Mogul.

Game Informer gave it a horrible review, if that means anything to anyone.
"While conservatives tell you 'leave things alone and no one will lose,' and liberals tell you 'interfere a lot and no one will lose,' baseball says 'someone will lose.' Not only says it - but insists upon it! ... Democracy is lovely, but baseball's more mature." BVCE supports SF Dugout and Manny Burriss.

I'd be skeptical of any reviews of games like this..
Most people look for “WOW I JUST HIT A HOME RUN” kind of games, not “cool, my 3B I drafted and developed just hit a home run” kind of games.
