Why shouldn't Baron open this?

I don’t think she’d be too scarred by seeing pictures of girls standing around.

The early theme for Gilligan's Island was...

With Gilligan, the Skipper Too. The millionaire and his wife. The movie star, and the rest…

The rest, for those of you unfamiliar, was The Professor and Mary Anne! Initially, they couldn’t be bothered to list two damn people in the opening theme song.

Your post is the new First Gilligan’s Island theme lyrics.

The Baron Comment

Was referring to last season when I was posting ‘K’ girls, I was told to stop because there were female posters. It was a joke, which clearly, most of you did not comprehend.

Duh, ur joke is too hard to undahstand, duh.

by chilibean_3 on Jan 14, 2009 4:06 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

That rule to stop posting K girls was not for the sake of the ladies here, but handed down by Grant because he doesn’t want this blog to become a boys’ club. We’re all here to discuss ball and not think with our balls.

I had nothing to do with the policy other than voicing how I didn’t want to participate in a knuckleheaded blog. So your joke is neither A) funny nor B) factual.

by wilriv21 on Jan 14, 2009 6:21 PM PST to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

To be fair, I’d have to say most guys I know do that. And that’s fine. But by this little display of singling me out—joke or not, and it’s funny like throwing a brick at someone’s head and saying HEY IT’S A JOKE when they’re lying there with a piece of brain leaking from their skull is funny—is what I’m angry about. Plus it’s going against a rule that Grant set forth, and it’s an off topic (and useless, depending on what you prefer to yank it to) post that’s not marked OT, AND it has the dreaded 75 filler bullshit.

Once again, our hero doesn’t get why he’s such a fucking idiot. And telling him frankly would be a waste of oxygen because he’s either too stupid to process it, or he’s such a dick that he doesn’t care.

Vaguely homoerotic?

The only time straight men are not homoerotic is when they’re with women.

It was always funny to me how Billy Beane once said “We’re not selling jeans here” and yet for a while there his club had more than a few Bruce Weber-class posers. Including, of course, Zito, who still is.

I have to say that I've turned a corner on him lately...

Dude has more talent in his toenail than most of us have in our entire body, it’s just a shame that he’s a sissy little bitch and would rather flop around like a fish out of water every single time someone approaches him on the pitch.

Also, would it kill the guy to try and tackle someone, maybe win possession from time to time?!?

I’m done with that douche for now and when not cheering for my own shitty ass team, I’ll put in a few good thoughts for Man U’s best player…ROONEY…ROONEY….ROONEY!!! At least that hot-head will chase someone down to the opposite by-line to get either a yellow card or win back the ball.

Believe me, I’m the biggest Rooney fan out there, but even I’d have a hard time saying that he’s better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo might be a narcissistic dick, but he’s still the best player in the world. And yes, he flops more than any other player. He also gets fouled more than any other player. I’m sure that I’ll hate him once he leaves Manchester, but right now I’m grateful we have him.

1.) Pictures of hot women in Giants gear is fine, depending on context. Some of your pictures, however, appear to be of 14-year-olds, and a post like this just isn’t the way to do things. We prefer irony, sarcasm and humor with our hot chicks.

2.) Singling out Baron with a “hey guys, get a load of this” post is just rude and stupid.

Just to throw my two cents in, I remember the game thread where it was decided (by the vast majority of people, not to mention Grant..or as his friends call him the Grant) that we didn’t particularly care for gratuitous shots of half-naked women. I mean, I like ‘em, but if I want to look at HAWT CHICKS for the sake of looking at HAWT CHICKS, then I’ll just go ahead and hope to luck out elsewhere on this sorely lacking medium we call the internet.

Don’t trip too hard, kingofducks….but trying to make BVCE seem like Leona Helmsley or something isn’t warranted.
