Don't Look Now, But ...
Francisco Liriano spent most of 2008 on a rehab assignment at Rochester AAA (where he mowed 'em down). However, in seven starts since being recalled to The Show last month, he has been:
5-0
1.44 ERA
.191 BAA
1.01 WHIP
7.83 K/9
And he's still only 24 yo. :(

that's not a very nice thing to say
"he walked 18; new league record! Struck out 18, another new league record! He also hit the sportswriter, the PA announcer, the bull mascot twice..."
Oh Come On
Don’t you like keeping up with Ex-Giants?
Some I’ve rooted for (Ray Ray, Rus Ortiz, Todd Linden, Rajai Davis, Yorvit (except when against us), Moises Alou, Calvin Murray), some I enjoyed seeing fail (Livan, El Malo, Armando, Pedro Feliz, Morris, Tomko, Hindenberg), and some I don’t care one way or the other (Kent, Alan Embree, FRod)
Liriano and Nathan fall into a weird category, just like Jason Schmidt – I wanna see them all succeed cuz I like them as people, but I wanna see them fail so as to feel less bad about us not holding on to them
Um, Jason Shit's a dodger bum
and said some pretty tactless stuff upon leaving SF.
¿Julio is tourist in San Francisco? Harper's Bizarre!
And he also
did pitched pretty pretty well for us for a few years there
(I didn’t hear/read what he said – what was it?)
DD? I don’t remember him saying anything bad about SF.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
The only think I remember was him saying something like “I’ve always been a Dodger in my heart.”

I'm pretty sure
That Kent was the one who said that. Did Schmidt also?

Schmidt absolutely said something about always being a Dodger fan. I don’t recall the specific words he used. “Grew up in a Dodger household” comes to mind, though, now that I think harder about it.

I’m starting to think the AJ Pierzsynski trade is not the steal for the Giants that I thought it was.

I doubt he’ll have a long career. Those mechanics seem destined to fail.
